As part of university I completed a placement at Trident Sports Cars, Swaffham. As a high-end Sports Car company, they create bespoke interiors for their own sports cars. The placement consisted of working within the interior design area to create my own design.

During the placement I worked with materials such as Scrim Foam and Alcantara to create an oval door panel. I worked with drawn designs, experimenting with calico and different stitch techniques learnt on an industrial sewing machine to create my own finished door panel.

This placement helped influence some of my final pieces of handwoven textiles and certainly my Automotive Inspired projects with the original design idea for Automotive Interiors.
